On Sunderworld, nighttime is mild but has a reddish-amber hue, like a photographic darkroom.
Native people are blinded in this wavelength, leaving only the orphaned Earthlings to see in the dark.

On the medieval planet of Sunderworld, castles and palaces are are built with a crystalline stone called glasstone.  Native inhabitants cannot see through these crystals, but to us earthlings, these walls are as clear as glass.
