Imagine finding yourself orphaned on a faraway planet where ordinary human abilities are relative superpowers. Picture yourself maturing in a medieval society of frail human analogs whose finest champions parade physical and sensory skills that pale in comparison to those of any petite human female. This is the fate of six marooned infants known to Sunderworld's native inhabitants as the Earthlings of Emor, strange super beings adopted and raised by a ritualistic clan of monks long revered by the unenlightened masses as wizards. Yet unknown to this fragile feudal land of shimmering glass castles and palaces -- built from a sheer local crystal that no indigenous person can see through -- a race of alien gargoyles on a segregated continent are launching an annihilating invasion. These highly evolved dinosaurian descendants, Dinosaur Sapiens Sapiens, command unstoppable legions that will soon wreak havoc upon the peaceful hume cities and villages. Half of the earthlings embark on a dangerous quest deep into the land of the Dins, hoping to secure a mythological store of buried weapons needed to defeat their invincible invaders, while the others remain behind in the safety of the glasstone palace at Adasam. But encounters with three deviant earthlings unexpectedly provide insurmountable obstacles -- and evoke their deadliest desires.
