Moses lead twelve Hebrew tribes out of bondage from ancient Egypt. Most people don't know that this count was later increased to thirteen. King David and his son Solomon later ruled Israel after settling Canaan and establishing a United Kingdom, but in 930 B.C.E. after Solomon's death, civil war erupted and the Kingdom split. The Northern Kingdom of Israel, aka Samaria, was conquered by Ain 722 B.C.E and its ten tribes carted off, never to be heard from again.
